AFREAKART is a digital platform dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and its diasporas, founded in 2018.
Conceived as a catalogue of artists, artworks, exhibitions and places that have made – and still make – contemporary African art what it is today, AFREAKART also gives a voice to artists and other actors with the ambition of making contemporary art accessible to all, and of serving as a mediator between artists, professionals in the art world and the public, whether amateur or not.
AFREAKART aims to be a witness to a rich, diverse and creative Africa beyond time and borders.

LA PAROLE À L’ARTISTE is a series of filmed interviews with artists, gallery owners, curators, collectors or enthusiasts involved in the African contemporary art scene. Through five questions, these short videos allow viewers to learn more about the interviewee, their relationship to contemporary African art, and the behind-the-scenes aspects of their work and/or life as an actor in the art world.
