Description : The conservation and management plan was developed as part of the preparation of the nomination dossier for the Roças of São Tomé and Príncipe in view of their inscription on the World Heritage List. This document was establised based on discussions and reflections from workshops organized with all stakeholders of the roças of Agua Izé, Diogo Vaz, Monte Café, São João, Belo Monte, and Sundy. It outlines the context and challenges associated with the roças and summarizes the vision and guidelines for 2025 to 2035, both at the national level of São Tomé and Príncipe and specifically for each roça.
